AMC LEAP (Leisure Experiences for Active People) - offers an activities group for physically challenged people who want to experience the fun and excitement of past leisure interests by gaining new skills. Arc of Augusta - educates and advocates for people with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities. Augusta County Railroad Club meets the third Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. at its location in the Kroger shopping center on Arch Avenue in Waynesboro. Work nights every Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the same location to work on new modules repair track, etc., and members are available to advise and assist anyone  wishing help with model railroading. We are also open to the public the last Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with trains operating on several layouts. Baby Cafe meets every third Tuesday of the month at 6-7:30 p.m. at 250 Central, the coffee shop at 2556 Jefferson Hwy (Rt. 250 West) in Waynesboro. Baby Cafe is an informal drop-in session convened to provide information and encouragement for breastfeeding moms and moms-to-be. Bipolar Disorder Support Group will meet every Thursay at 2 p.m.at Valley Hope Counseling Center, Waynesboro, in the Stoneridge Office Complex. A support group for people who have lost a loved one to suicide meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. This group is non-judgmental, member-led and open to people of all beliefs. The meetings are held from 7:30-9 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 2807 N. Augusta St., Staunton. The support group is facilitated by the Shenandoah Valley Grief Services, a program of Lutheran Family Services of Virginia.
